Rangers have travelled to Poland ahead of Thursday night's UEFA Europa League qualifier against Jagiellonia Bialystok, with John Souttar among the notable absentees.
The Scotland international has remained in Glasgow after being left out of Rangers' European squad, despite qualifying as a homegrown player under UEFA regulations.
His omission is the most eye-catching selection decision made by Derek McInnes, with Souttar continuing to train at the Rangers Training Centre while speculation over his long-term future persists.
Souttar set for Ibrox exit
Souttar has been linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer after falling down the defensive pecking order following the arrivals of Olwethu Makhanya and Ben Godfrey and is not rated by McInnes.
He has been linked with moves to Cardiff City, Swansea City and to Leicester City, where his brother Harry Souttar plays under ex-Rangers head coach Russell Martin.
McInnes recently confirmed the defender is exploring his options in search of regular first-team football, although no transfer has yet been completed.
"He's training with us, he's in the building, but it might be a situation where John looks to go elsewhere for regular football,” the ex-Ibrox midfielder McInnes said.
Other Rangers absentees
Godfrey however, is another player to miss the trip after suffering a muscle injury on his Rangers debut during Friday night's 1-1 Scottish Premiership opening day draw with Dundee United at Tannadice.
The on-loan defender has been ruled out for around four weeks, forcing him to remain in Scotland to continue his rehabilitation.
Teenage defender Ashton Scally also remains at the Rangers Training Centre as he continues his recovery from injury after missing all of pre-season.
Jose Cifuentes has likewise been left behind following surgery earlier this summer. The Ecuador international has spent pre-season recovering after returning from his latest loan spell at Toronto and is not yet available for selection.
Returning players travel
Elsewhere, Nicolas Raskin has travelled with the squad despite ongoing speculation surrounding his future after returning from Belgium's World Cup campaign.
Clinton Nsiala and Ross McCausland are also in the squad despite their Ibrox careers seemingly being over.
New signing Makhanya is travelling after receiving the necessary documentation to make the trip to Poland following his move from Philadelphia Union.
Daisuke Yokota has also departed for Poland after agreeing to sign for the club yesterday.

Midfielders: Dan Neil, Connor Barron, Mohamed Diomande, Thelo Aasgaard, Cammy Devlin, Lyall Cameron, Vanja Dragojević, Djeidi Gassama, Tochi Chukwuani, Nicolas Raskin.
Forwards: Lawrence Shankland, Youssef Chermiti, Ryan Naderi, Bojan Miovski, Ross McCausland, Joshua Gentles.
Several youth players have also travelled but do not need to be registered.
With a place in the next qualifying round at stake, McInnes will hope his travelling squad can secure a positive first-leg result before the return fixture at Ibrox.
