Newly promoted Premier League side Hull City have emerged as the latest club interested in signing Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin this summer.
The Tigers are looking to strengthen their squad after securing promotion to the top flight and have identified the Belgian international as a potential marquee addition ahead of their return to the Premier League.
Hull owner Acun Ilicali has already outlined the club's ambition in the transfer market after revealing they had taken out a £55 million bridging loan to accelerate spending before receiving their Premier League income. The Turkish businessman insisted the move was designed to put Hull in a "strong financial position" and allow the club to move quickly for new signings as they prepare for life back in the top flight.
It remains to be seen however, if they can match the Gers £20million valuation.
The rise of Nicolas Raskin at Rangers
Raskin's stock has risen significantly over the past 12 months following a string of impressive performances for Rangers and Belgium.
The 25-year-old was a key member of Belgium's squad that reached the World Cup quarter-finals earlier this summer, further enhancing his reputation and attracting interest from clubs across Europe.
Hull now join a growing list of admirers, with Villarreal, Aston Villa and Manchester United also credited with monitoring the midfielder's situation.
Rangers open to Raskin sale
Despite Raskin's importance to Rangers, the club are understood to be willing to consider offers if their valuation is met.
With just two years remaining on his contract, this summer represents the ideal opportunity for Rangers to maximise his transfer value rather than risk his price falling as he enters the final year of his deal.
Rangers transfer targets and signings
Derek McInnes has already reinforced the midfield following his appointment, bringing in Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin as part of his squad rebuild.
Rangers also continue to monitor Tromsø midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl despite Cardiff City appearing to lead the race for the Norwegian, while Vanja Dragojevic's arrival from Partizan is expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
Those additions have provided Rangers with greater depth and flexibility in the middle of the park should a significant offer arrive for Raskin before the transfer window closes.

Former Rangers midfielder Kieran Dowell joined Hull City in January and played a bit-part in helping the Tigers secure promotion back to the Premier League via the playoffs.
There is no indication a deal is close at present with only an interest noted, but Hull's emergence adds another serious contender to the race for one of Rangers' most valuable assets as interest in Raskin continues to intensify.
