With the departure of technical director Nils Koppen and the impending arrival of Everton's head of scouting Dan Purdy into Ibrox there has been little early business conducted so far at Ibrox.

This will soon kick into gear with the new structure at Ibrox post takeover and with a new Head Coach in place along with Purdy, the Gers will be ready to kick into life to get business done early ahead of the rebuild and the UEFA Champions League qualifiers in late July.

So, what has happened in May?

In:

Lyall Cameron - The pre-contract for the midfielder to move to Govan from Dundee was agreed back in January and now that the 2024/25 season has been completed the Scotland under 21 international has officially joined the Gers and will join the squad for the start of pre-season training.

Oscar Cortes - The Colombian loanee has joined the club permanently for £4.5m as previously agreed last summer. He will need to get his act together now he is finally fit and show the supporters he is worth the fee, as he has not shown anywhere near the form worthy of such a cost so far.

Last year's outgoing loanees of Ben Davies, Kieran Dowell, Jose Cifuentes, Rabbi Matondo, Kieran Wright, Robbie Fraser, Blaine McClure and Leon King have all returned to Ibrox.

Out:

The contracts of Leon Balogun, Tom Lawrence, Adam Devine, Cole McKinnon and Ianis Hagi have been allowed to expire and the first teamers all depart Ibrox on free transfers along with a number of academy players.

The loans of Vaclav Cerny, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Rafael Fernandes have all ended and each have returned to their respective parent clubs.

Inside Ibrox wish them all the best with their careers moving forward.
