Earlier this Summer, Rangers announced the departures of first team players Leon Balogun, Ianis Hagi and Tom Lawrence. Along with the end of loan spells for Rafael Fernandes and fan-favourite Vaclav Cerny.
The club have now followed this up with a raft of releases for the youth sides. Notable releases with first team minutes for the Ibrox side are Adam Devine, Cole McKinnon and Archie Stevens.
Devine has played ten first team matches for the club's first team but has fallen out of favour in recent years with loan spells at Motherwell and Queen's Park. McKinnon scored on his debut against Hearts in the final league game of the 2021/22 season, the week before the 2022 UEFA Europa League final and has made sporadic appearances since but his time at the club is over.
Stevens made a solitary appearance under Giovanni Van Bronkhorst against Queen of the South in a early round League Cup match at Ibrox in 2022 and is tipped to return to England.
Other releases include Kristian Webster- son of former Gers player Andy, goalkeepers Lewis Budinauckas, Jay Hogarth and Jacob Pazikaz and outfield players Jack Harkness, Kristian Webster, Leyton Grant, Kerr Robertson, Darren McInally, Grant Leitch and Harry Weir.
The club said: "We wish all the departing players the very best in their future endeavours and they will always be welcome back at Rangers" and we at Inside Ibrox would also like to echo this and wish them all luck in their footballing careers going forward.
Hopefully we don't see any of these decisions come back to bite us in the future.
