Rangers host Jagiellonia Bialystok at Ibrox tonight in their crucial UEFA Europa League third qualifying round second leg with the Polish side leading 2-1 following last week’s first encounter at the Chorten Arena.
Rangers scored early doors but two moments of calamitous defending sees Derek McInnes’s side chasing a deficit ahead of tonight.
McInnes has been unable to add to his squad since the arrival of Daisuke Yokota, who debuted in the previous leg. He will also now need to organise a makeshift backline with Tuur Rommens joining fellow left back Ashton Scally on the treatment table.
Following a second consecutive defeat, a home loss to Hibernian on Sunday, the former Hearts’ boss needs his first competitive victory as Gers boss tonight or face the resultant ire of the Ibrox crowd.
Both sides are already aware that Georgian outfit FC Iberia stand between them and the Europa League group stage should they manage to proceed.

Team news
Rangers will be without a large portion of first team regulars. Rommens has been ruled out for up to ten weeks, while the club’s only other left back, Scally, has missed the entirety of pre-season.
Youssef Chermiti will also miss a “significant period of time” with an ACL injury and is not expected to play until at least the start of the new year.
Connor Barron remains a doubt after picking up an injury during the Gers pre-season training camp amid interest from Sevilla, West Ham United and Bologna.
Ben Godfrey remains out after picking up a knock in the Premiership opener, a 1-1 draw away to Dundee United, while Jose Cifuentes remains out following surgery and his return from a loan with Toronto.
"Connor Barron's a wee bit behind," McInnes said previously. "He's only had seven or eight days of pre-season. Connor's had a little knee niggle. We didn't allow him to do the pre-season before we went to Spain.
John Souttar has been omitted from Rangers’ European squad after being deemed surplus to requirements by McInnes, while Clinton Nsiala remains a doubt with a small knock.
Jagiellonia head coach Adrian Siemieniec has confirmed that former Derby County winger Kamil Jozwiak will be out for a substantial period of time for the visitors.
"As for Kamil, he is indeed injured," he said.
"He won't be available for tomorrow's match. We'll see how long his absence lasts. I wouldn't like to give a timeframe, but it's more a matter of weeks than days.
"It's an injury from the match against Suduva, and I won't be able to use him anytime soon."
Match officials
There will be an all Greek officiating team for the second leg. Vassilis Fotias will be the referee in charge of the tie.
He will be assisted by compatriots Andreas Meintanas and Michail Papadakis on the sidelines, while Fotios Polychronis has been appointed the fourth official.
Angelos Evangelou is the VAR referee and he will be assisted by Stefanos Koumparakis.
The 37-year-old referee was the referee during Celtic’s draw away to Bologna in January.
