Rangers have been credited with an interest in Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry following reports that the Premier League club rejected a £5million bid from an unnamed Belgian side.
The 21-year-old is attracting significant attention after an outstanding loan spell at Bolton Wanderers last season, where he registered nine goals and 13 assists across all competitions to establish himself as one of the most exciting young wide players outside the Premier League.
According to fresh reports, Brighton have already knocked back a £5m offer for Cozier-Duberry as they attempt to tie the winger down to a new long-term contract.
However, there is no shortage of interest should negotiations fail.
Rangers are among the clubs monitoring the situation alongside Premier League outfit West Ham United, Bundesliga side Augsburg and French club Paris FC.
Rangers aim for attacking reinforcements
The Ibrox side have already strengthened their attack this summer, but Derek McInnes is understood to remain keen on adding further pace and creativity in the wide areas if the right opportunity arises.
Rangers have also been linked with Sheffield United forward Ryan One and Stockport County attacker Adama Sidibeh this summer, with Sidibeh facing off with Cozier-Duberry in the playoff final last season.
Cozier-Duberry would certainly fit Rangers' current recruitment profile.
The England youth international graduated through Arsenal's academy before joining Brighton last summer in search of a clearer pathway to senior football.
Although first-team opportunities have been limited on the south coast, his loan spell at Bolton showcased his ability to produce consistently in senior football.

Capable of operating on either flank, Cozier-Duberry combines direct running, close control and an eye for goal, with his 22 goal contributions playing a major role in Bolton's campaign.
Brighton now face a decision over the winger's long-term future.
The Seagulls clearly value the youngster, having rejected a sizeable offer while simultaneously attempting to secure him on improved terms.
Should the Premier League club decide another loan is the best option for his development, or contract talks stall, the Scottish Premiership side could emerge as serious contenders for his signature.

McInnes has already welcomed Ivan Pandur, Ross McCrorie, Ben Godfrey, Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin to Ibrox, while Vanja Dragojevic's £4million arrival from Partizan is all but complete ahead of an official announcement.
Interest also remains in Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl, highlighting Rangers' continued focus on recruiting young players with significant long-term potential.
A player of Cozier-Duberry's profile would fit neatly into that strategy, although Brighton's determination to keep hold of the winger means any deal is unlikely to be straightforward.
