Oscar Cortes continued his impressive run of form for Huracan as the on-loan Rangers winger started again in their 1-1 draw away to Belgrano.
The Colombian has established himself as a regular starter under Diego Martinez during the Argentine Clausura campaign, providing Rangers with an encouraging update on a player who has endured a difficult period with injuries since arriving at Ibrox.
Cortes was involved in the build-up to Huracan's equaliser, combining with Cesar Ibanez before Jordy Caicedo produced a spectacular finish late in the game.
The 22-year-old was then withdrawn in the closing stages as Huracan secured a point in Cordoba.
His continued involvement is particularly significant given the winger's previous struggles for fitness and consistency during his time in Scotland.
Cortes made decision to join Huracan
Cortes was keen to make the move to Argentina and previously explained how important his relationship with Martinez was in convincing him to join Huracan.
Speaking after completing the move, the Rangers winger said: "I did everything I could to get to Huracan; I spoke with the manager, I made the decision, and it was the best thing I could have done."
That direct relationship with Martinez has now helped Cortes establish himself as a regular presence in the Huracan team.
Rather than simply providing an opportunity to regain fitness, the loan has given the Colombian consistent competitive football and the chance to rebuild his confidence.
Clement always believed in Cortes
Cortes' injury record has been a major obstacle since his move to Rangers, with the winger suffering a series of setbacks that prevented him from establishing himself at Ibrox.
Former Rangers boss Philippe Clement nevertheless remained convinced that the player had the ability to succeed.
After another injury setback, Clement said: "He got a knock. That's a disappointing thing, because he was growing back to his best level, and showing the player that he was, or that he is, and that he will be in the future."
Clement had also previously backed Cortes to enjoy a successful career at Rangers, saying he believed he "can have a great career at Rangers".
The latest spell in Argentina is now giving Cortes the opportunity to demonstrate exactly why Rangers invested in him.

Cortes remains under contract with Rangers until the summer of 2029, but his performances for Huracan could create an interesting decision for the Ibrox club.
The immediate priority is for the winger to maintain his fitness and continue playing regularly.
His latest start against Belgrano represents another step in that process, while his involvement in Huracan's equaliser underlines the attacking contribution he can make when given a sustained run in the team.
A successful loan spell could potentially give Rangers several options; Cortes could return to Scotland with a stronger claim for a first-team role, or his form could increase his value if Huracan or another club decides to pursue a permanent move.
For now, the Colombian is doing exactly what both Rangers and Huracan will have wanted from the loan: playing regularly, staying fit and showing glimpses of the talent that has been repeatedly highlighted during his career.
And with the Clausura campaign continuing, Cortes has the opportunity to strengthen his case even further before Rangers have to make a decision on what comes next.
Huracan paid around £60,000 to take Cortes on loan in January and hold an option-to-buy the player this winter for £1.65 million. However, if this option is taken Rangers would retain a 50% sell on clause for the Colombian they paid a reported £4.5 million for last summer after an injury plagued 18 month loan spell in Govan.
