Rangers have provided a significant indication of the current state of their squad with a number of players linked with potential moves away from Ibrox spotted in training.

With the transfer window entering its final stages, there has been plenty of speculation surrounding the futures of several members of Derek McInnes' squad.

However, the latest training pictures show Nico Raskin, Thelo Aasgaard, John Souttar, Connor Barron, Ross McCausland, Bojan Miovski and Clinton Nsiala all taking part.

The presence of the players does not necessarily mean they will remain at Rangers beyond the transfer deadline, but it provides a useful snapshot of the squad as McInnes continues to prepare for the campaign.

Raskin and Aasgaard present amid transfer speculation

Raskin's presence is particularly notable given the continued expectation that the Belgian midfielder could attract interest before the window closes.

The midfielder has been linked with a potential departure following his involvement with Belgium at the World Cup, although Rangers are yet to receive any offers that would force a decision over his future.

Aasgaard is another player attracting attention after a tenuous report in Norway linked him with Bodo/Glimt.

The Rangers midfielder started the opening Premiership fixture and scored the only goal against Dundee United, but has subsequently found himself among the substitutes.

Despite the speculation surrounding his future, he was also involved in the latest training session.

Souttar and Barron remain with squad

Souttar was also pictured at training despite continued uncertainty over his future amid links to the MLS, England, Hearts and Hibernian.

The Scotland international has been linked with a possible move away from Ibrox, with Rangers understood to be open to finding a solution for players who are unlikely to feature regularly and has been frozen out by McInnes.

Barron, meanwhile, remains at Rangers after rejecting a loan move to Hannover 96.

The midfielder is understood to be determined to stay at Ibrox and fight for his place under McInnes rather than take up the opportunity to move elsewhere.

Miovski and McCausland still training

Miovski was another notable presence. The striker has attracted interest from abroad, with Feyenoord among the clubs to have made enquiries, but Rangers have yet to secure an exit for the forward.

McCausland was also involved despite his position among the players whose futures remain uncertain and Nsiala completed the group of players linked with potential exits who were visible in the training session. Jose Cifuentes remains injured.

Lyall Cameron absent

One notable absence, however, was Lyall Cameron. The midfielder has been expected to leave Rangers on loan, with Dundee United emerging as his likely destination.

His absence from the latest training pictures comes as speculation over that move continues.
