Rangers kick off their William Hill Premiership campaign this afternoon away to Motherwell, as Russell Martin gets his first taste of Scottish football from the dugout.

Here’s how we expect Rangers to line up later today:

Goalkeeper:

Jack Butland

The former England stopper looked back to his best across both legs against Panathinaikos.

He appears to be the undisputed No.1 under Martin heading into the league campaign.

Defenders:

James Tavernier, John Souttar, Nasser Djiga, Max Aarons

No changes are expected in defence.

Butland was the key reason for the clean sheet in the first leg, and although Martin is still in the market for a left-back, Aarons is likely to continue on that side, with Tavernier occupying his usual role at right-back.

Jefte may feature later, but we don't anticipate a starting place for him in this match.

Midfielders:

Nico Raskin, Joe Rothwell, Mohammed Diomande

No changes to the midfield either, this is our strongest three and when fit all should start the bigger games together.

Forwards:

Djeidi Gassama, Findlay Curtis, Cyriel Dessers

Gassama is tipped to make his first start after netting twice in two substitute appearances against Panathinaikos.

Findlay Curtis may keep his place on the opposite wing in Mikey Moore’s absence, while a fully-fit Cyriel Dessers is expected to replace Danilo through the middle..
