Anderlecht unveil Finland international

Anderlecht have confirmed Antman has signed a four-year contract, with the Belgian giants holding the option of a further season.

Introducing their latest signing, the club highlighted Antman's versatility and the reputation he built before arriving at Ibrox.

A club statement read: "RSC Anderlecht brings in attacking reinforcements. The 24-year-old Finnish winger Oliver Antman joins from Scottish club Rangers FC. Antman signs a contract for four seasons, with an option for an additional season."

The Belgian side also praised the winger's ability to operate on either flank and pointed to his breakthrough at Go Ahead Eagles, where he helped the Dutch side win the KNVB Cup and finished as the Eredivisie's leading assist provider during the 2024/25 campaign.

Anderlecht also noted Antman has earned 31 senior international caps for Finland.

Rangers cash in after one season

Antman leaves Ibrox after just one season, having made 28 appearances for Rangers following his arrival from Go Ahead Eagles and a single goal.

The winger attracted interest from several clubs during the transfer window, with FC Twente among those credited with monitoring his situation before Anderlecht won the race for his signature.

The sale represents another departure as Derek McInnes continues to reshape his squad ahead of the new campaign, with Rangers opting to sanction Antman's exit after receiving an acceptable offer from the Belgian club.

The move concludes a transfer that developed rapidly over the past 24 hours, with Antman's medical and contract signing completed earlier than originally anticipated.
