Rangers travel to Athens to take on Greek side Panathinaikos in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifier this coming Wednesday.

Russell Martin’s side lead 2-0 from last weeks first leg at Ibrox, with youngster Findlay Curtis grabbing his first competitive goal for the club.

Jack Butland made some excellent stops to keep a clean sheet before new signing Djeidi Gassama sealed the victory with a fantastic debut goal.

When is Panathinaikos vs Rangers?

Rangers travel to Athens for their second leg against the Greek side on Wednesday 30th July at 7pm GMT.

The game will be played at The Olympic Stadium of Athens, rather than Pana’s normal home ground of the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium.

Rangers remain without the long-term injured Dujon Sterling, along with Ridvan Yilmaz and Rabbi Matondo, all unregistered in the squad due to their injury status.

Thelo Aasgaard is also still a doubt for the match but could feature from the bench.

Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane should be fit to feature from the start, as is Djeidi Gassama, who scored in the first leg.

Clinton Nsiala, Jose Cifuentes, Ben Davies and Ross McCausland are all unregistered and unavailable.

Robin Propper and Mason Munn will not feature after departing Rangers this week, Propper to FC Twente on a permanent deal, while Munn has joined Dunfermline on a season-long loan deal.

Georgios Vagiannidis is suspended for the hosts after his first leg red card for a foul on Curtis.

Who is the referee for Panathinaikos vs Rangers UEFA Champions League qualifier?

The referee for the second leg will be an Italian team of referee Simone Sozza, assisted by Fillipo Meli and Marcello Rossi, with Giovanni Ayroldi operating as the fourth official.

The VAR team are also Itlaian, with Valerio Marini assisted by Rosario Abisso.
