The group stage of the 2025/26 Premier Sports Cup is all but over, with the final match between St Mirren and Ayr United taking place today.

Rangers enter the competition at the next stage after receiving a bye from the groups due to our European campaign.

Ahead of this afternoon’s draw, here is everything you need to know:

When is the Premier Sports Cup last 16 draw?

The draw for the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup will take place today, Sunday, July 27, 2025.

How to watch the Premier Sports Cup last 16 draw?

The draw will be broadcast live on Premier Sports 1 following their coverage of St Mirren v Ayr United, which kicks off at 3pm.

It will also be available to stream live via the Premier Sports website and app.

Second-round ties are scheduled for the weekend of August 16/17 and are subject to TV coverage selections.

Who is in the draw?

The five Scottish European representatives enter at this stage: Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibernian, and Dundee United.

They are joined by the eight group winners and the three best second-placed sides.

The confirmed group winners are Falkirk, Partick Thistle, Alloa Athletic, Hearts, St Johnstone, Motherwell, Kilmarnock, and either Ayr United or St Mirren.

The three best second-placed sides currently advancing are Livingston, Morton, and Dunfermline Athletic.

• If today’s match ends in a draw and St Mirren win the bonus point on penalties, they will progress in place of Dunfermline.

• If St Mirren win in 90 minutes, Ayr will progress instead of the Pars.

• Dunfermline will only advance if Ayr win, either in 90 minutes or on penalties.

Who can we draw?

As a seeded team entering at this stage, we can be drawn against any of the unseeded sides.

The top three group winners join the five European entrants as seeded teams.

This means we cannot be drawn against Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibernian, Dundee United, Hearts, St Johnstone, or Partick Thistle/Ayr United (depending on today’s result).
