Mikey Moore says he is “buzzing” to finally get off the mark for Rangers, as both the 18-year-old and Nicolas Raskin reflected on the improving momentum under Danny Rohl following the 3-0 victory over Dundee at Dens Park on Sky Sports.

Moore, who joined on loan from Spurs in the summer, produced his best performance in a Rangers shirt and capped it with a composed finish to double the visitors lead early on.

It comes after weeks of noticeable development under Rohl, and the forward admitted there was relief as much as joy when the ball hit the net.

“I’m a bit relieved, to be honest, to finally get on the score sheet and keep the momentum going,” Moore said.

“It just fell and as soon as it came, I just thought I’m going to shoot because I needed to score.

“I was buzzing when it went in.”

Moore also saw another strike ruled out following a VAR check which found Mohamed Diomande to be obstructing the goalkeeper, though the young attacker is content to take the one for now.

He said: “As soon as I scored, I was thinking something could have went on because there were a few phases of play.

“It’s frustrating, but one’s enough for now.”

Belgian midfielder Raskin opened the scoring with a towering header – his first Scottish Premiership goal of the season – and he echoed the sense of growing confidence within the group.

“It’s great. We can build something on that,” he said.

“Three wins in a row in the league now, so we just have to keep going, scoring goals and not conceding.”

Asked about being left unmarked for the header, Raskin smiled and said: “They can’t pick us all.

“They made a choice and today it was a perfect delivery from Tav and I just had to put it in.”

Raskin also credited Rohl’s influence both tactically and mentally since arriving at Ibrox.

“He’s given us confidence and freedom to play, to go and enjoy it,” he said.

“It’s not been perfect every time, but we’re trying to work hard as a team and I think we’re going in the right direction.

“We just need to keep believing.”

Moore echoed that sentiment, saying the new manager has helped bring out more of his ability.

“Since the manager’s come in I’ve shown a bit more of what I can do,” he said.

“The whole team is building, and we just need to keep it going and try to pick up some more wins.”

With the international break now arriving, and both Moore and Raskin away with England U19’s and Belgium respectively, they can both now reflect on a job well done and be ready to return and push on for more.
