Bojan Miovski's Rangers future remains uncertain with the striker's potential exit routes continuing to narrow ahead of the transfer deadline.
The North Macedonia international had emerged as a potential target for Genclerbirligi, but a deal has now reportedly failed to materialise after the Turkish club were unable to agree terms with Rangers.
Genclerbirligi were not prepared to meet the conditions surrounding the proposed deal, including a €3 million transfer fee and a purchase obligation conditional for a loan move.
The Turkish club have instead moved to sign Nice striker Victor Orakpo on loan with an option to buy, with visa procedures now reportedly being completed.
That leaves Miovski still searching for a potential move away from Ibrox.
Feyenoord deny Miovski enquiry
A move to Feyenoord has also seemingly fallen away despite reports in Scotland that Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side had shown an interest in the Rangers forward.
Feyenoord have denied making an enquiry for Miovski and are understood to be looking at alternative striker options.
The Dutch club's transfer window closes tonight, meaning a move to Rotterdam is now highly unlikely.
Miovski had been linked with the club following Ayase Ueda's departure to Lille, but the latest update from the Netherlands suggests the Rangers striker is not currently under consideration.
LASK the final European option?
One potential route remains open, with Austrian side LASK potentially offering Miovski a late escape from Rangers.
The Austrian transfer window remains open until Thursday, September 3, giving LASK more time to complete a deal after the Scottish window closes.
LASK could therefore provide a final opportunity for Rangers to find a destination for Miovski, although there is an obvious drawback.
The Austrian club have already eliminated Celtic from the Champions League qualifying rounds and submitted their squad for the competition.
That means Miovski would not be eligible to play for LASK in the Champions League this season if he joined after their squad was registered.
It could still be an attractive move for all parties if LASK are prepared to bring the striker in for their domestic campaign, but the Champions League registration issue could prove significant.
Rangers must also decide whether to sanction a late departure or retain Miovski beyond the deadline if a suitable deal cannot be agreed.
The striker remains under contract at Ibrox, but his position in Derek McInnes' attacking hierarchy has become increasingly uncertain following Rangers' summer recruitment and the imminent announcement of £9.5 million Portland Timbers’ forward Kevin Kelsy.
With the Austrian window closing on Thursday, the next 24 hours could determine whether Miovski gets the move he is looking for or remains a Rangers player until at least January.
