Last month, we put the question to ChatGPT of who the best players to play for Rangers were during the club’s most successful ever decade was in the 1990’s.

Now, we’ve back to the AI system to gauge its opinion on a another Ibrox-related conundrum – that being who the best non-Scottish players were.

The club had always been known for having a high calibre of non-home grown players in their squad, stemming from the Graeme Souness reign when Rangers could field some of the top English talent of the time including Chris Woods, Mark Walters and Mark Hateley.

With UEFA scrapping restrictions on foreign players in 1996, it allowed for an even greater influx of talent from the continents on make their way to Ibrox and show exactly what they could do.

As a result, it is something that many a fan would find difficult to get them into a Top 10 list, so let’s see what ChatGPT has come up with. For this list, foreign is described as any players not from Scotland.
