Rangers welcome European opposition to Ibrox for the final time this season as Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad arrive for the Gers penultimate UEFA Europa League fixture.
While knockout qualification is no longer possible, the match still carries significant importance for the Light Blues.
With Rangers currently leading UEFA’s five-year club coefficient table among domestic champions, every remaining European point could prove crucial in the race for automatic Champions League qualification for the 2025–26 season – a potential £40 million prize.
Olympiacos recent Champions League victory over Bayer Leverkusen has tightened the coefficient battle, increasing the pressure on Rangers to maximise their own returns from Europe’s final group fixtures. As a result, what once looked like a dead rubber now carries real financial and strategic weight for the club.
