Rangers host Aberdeen tonight in the Scottish Premiership in the first of two meetings between the sides this week as Danny Rohl and his side look to carry on their momentum after their 3-1 Old Firm victory at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers are on the back of three back-to-back wins against Celtic, St Mirren and Motherwell as they look to cut the gap on league leaders Hearts to three and leapfrog the Hoops into second spot.

Aberdeen are without a manager after sacking Jimmy Thelin on Sunday – a 1-0 defeat at Falkirk enough to see the Sweed axed after five matches without a win. Former Rangers youth player Peter Leven is in charge for tonight's fixture.

This is the first meeting between the sides since Barry Ferguson’s Gers side ran out 4-0 winners in May.
