Rangers are in talks with Besiktas over a potential move for Vaclav Cerny, according to a report from Turkey.
Turkish journalist Sercan Dikme reports that the likelihood of Cerny leaving Besiktas is currently higher than that of midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
His departure has also reportedly been approved by Besiktas head coach Vincenzo Italiano, with the Czech winger now emerging as a possible option for Rangers.
The report states that Rangers and Besiktas are currently holding talks regarding Cerny, although it remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached over a transfer to see the former Wolfsburg loanee return to Glasgow.
The 29-year-old joined Besiktas from Wolfsburg, following his year on loan at Ibrox, and has continued to attract attention from clubs elsewhere, with Rangers now seemingly exploring the possibility of bringing him to Ibrox.

Rangers are also understood to be making a serious effort to strengthen their options on the right wing, meaning Cerny could fit directly into the club's current recruitment plans.
The Gers have already been active in the transfer market this summer as Derek McInnes continues to reshape his squad, with Portland Timbers’ forward Kevin Kelsy set to be confirmed as addition number 14 within the next 24 hours.
They have already recruited wingers Kim Min-Su and Daisuke Yokota this window to compliment established star Djiedi Gassama and returning prospect Findlay Curtis, with Cerny seen as the final piece of the jigsaw for McInnes in terms of wide options.

The latest developments suggest his future at Besiktas is increasingly uncertain, with Italiano reportedly giving the green light for the player to depart.
The Turkish report makes clear that talks are ongoing, with no fee yet agreed.
