Rangers are set to complete the signing of former Aberdeen hitman Bojan Miovksi with terms agreed with Girona for the forward.
The transfer fee that will see the North Macedonian international arrive at Ibrox has been agreed at £2.6m up front, with the potential to rise to £4m with the forward arriving permanently.
Rangers had initially looked for a loan with an option to buy but both the Catalonian club and Miovski himself were adamant that only a permanent deal would be sanctioned.
Wages are undisclosed but Miovski has agreed a four-year deal with the Ibrox club and should be announced by Friday at the latest.
He is expected to come straight into the side to face Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox this Sunday.
The 26-year-old spent two seasons in Scotland with the Granite City side, scoring 44 goals in 98 games before departing to Girona for £6.8m only a year ago.
Miovski netted three goals against Celtic for the Dons, as well as four against his new side, providing he has the metal to provide in big games.

Nine-One on aggregate: Rangers humiliated against Brugge
Hamza Igamane looks set to conclude his protracted £10.4m move to French Ligue 1 side Lille today, leaving the space for the former Don in Russell Martin’s side, as well as freeing up funds to finalize the move.
Cyriel Dessers is short of full fitness after an injury against Viktoria Plzen and Danilo’s form has been inconsistent to kick off the campaign, paving the way for Miovski to come in and start.
Interest remains in Dessers, with Greek and Italian clubs looking to secure a deal for the Nigerian forward.
Girona meanwhile, look set to sign former Rangers flop Umar Sadiq from Real Sociedad to replace the outgoing Miovski.
Martin is under severe pressure with just three wins from his first ten matches in charge of Rangers, including last night’s humiliating 6-0 second leg defeat to Club Brugge in Belgium which seen Rangers limp out of the UEFA Champions League playoffs and into the Europa League.
With three 1-1 draws against Motherwell, Dundee and St Mirren to kick off their William Hill Premiership campaign the Gers trail their oldest rivals by six points already, with Brendan Rodgers and his men, who also crashed out of the UCL playoffs to Kazakh side Kairat Almaty, looking to extend their lead to nine and all but end Rangers title hopes by the end of August, and regain some favour with their own disgruntled fanbase.
With Ibrox beyond toxic already, anything less than an Old Firm victory will see the support go nuclear on not just the players and Martin, but on the new board as well.
Change is needed, and if it does not come on the park this week, Miovski or not, it will need to come off it with the head coaches job.
Will Bojan rise to the task and save his new boss, or will he find himself working under a new leader within his first few weeks at Ibrox?
