Rangers are edging closer to completing the signing of Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, with talks progressing over a deal that would see Jack Butland move in the opposite direction.
While no agreement has yet been officially confirmed, sources in England indicate the transfer is expected to be completed, with both clubs moving quickly behind the scenes as summer business gathers pace.
Butland was still at Rangers' training base on Monday as preparations for the new season continued, but his future at Ibrox appears increasingly uncertain.
The 33-year-old is understood to be attracting serious interest from newly-promoted Premier League side Hull City, who are looking to strengthen their goalkeeping department following promotion from the Championship.

Rangers, meanwhile, have identified Pandur as their preferred replacement.
The Croatian goalkeeper enjoyed an outstanding campaign as Hull secured promotion, missing just one Championship fixture and helping the Tigers achieve a remarkable return to the Premier League.
Hull are expected to receive around £6million for the 25-year-old, representing a sizeable profit on the £1.5m they paid Fortuna Sittard to sign him in January 2023.
Pandur is currently away with Croatia at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he is awaiting his senior international debut, although that has not prevented negotiations from accelerating.

Should the move be completed, Rangers would secure a goalkeeper entering the prime years of his career, while Hull would land an experienced replacement in Butland.
The former England international has been Rangers' first-choice goalkeeper since arriving in 2023 and featured 55 times in all competitions last season.
His wealth of Premier League experience makes him an attractive option for Hull as they prepare for life back in the top flight.
The proposed deal is another example of how efficiently Rangers have operated during the early stages of the transfer window.
Unlike previous summers, negotiations have largely taken place out of the spotlight before emerging at an advanced stage, allowing Derek McInnes and the club's recruitment team to move decisively in reshaping the squad.
With Ben Godfrey, Lawrence Shankland and Ross McCrorie already through the door and Pandur now expected to follow, Rangers' summer rebuild shows no sign of slowing down.
