Rangers will no longer travel to Austria for their pre-season training camp after Derek McInnes opted to alter preparations for the new campaign.
Plans to head to western Austria had originally been put in place under former head coach Danny Rohl before the German departed Ibrox to take over at RB Salzburg earlier this summer.
This also means the pencilled in friendly with Sparta Prague has also been cancelled.
Instead, McInnes has decided his squad will travel to Spain later next week as he continues to shape preparations for the new season as reported by the Rangers Review.

McInnes changes pre-season schedule
The Rangers boss had hinted that changes were under consideration when he spoke to the media at the end of last month.
"We've got a structure in place now. We've been liaising with the club over the last week, so we've got dates in mind to tick off our games," McInnes explained.
"We're looking at one or two different options, but we've not ruled out going to Austria at this stage.
"We've got a couple of closed-door games already booked in, and we've got the West Ham fixture at Ibrox. We think that will probably be the only game at Ibrox before we play Dundee United."
It has now been confirmed that Spain will replace Austria as Rangers' overseas base as McInnes looks to implement his ideas ahead of his first competitive fixture in charge.

Rangers stars return to training
The squad have already been back in pre-season training for over a week, with those not involved at the FIFA World Cup returning to the Rangers Training Centre.
That group included Bojan Miovski, Nedim Bajrami, Oliver Antman and Djeidi Gassama, have all started work under their new manager after enjoying an extended summer break following international duty.
McInnes will hope to have the majority of his squad together before attention turns to the opening weeks of the new season, with the Spain camp expected to provide valuable time on the training pitch as tactical work intensifies.
Before departing overseas, Rangers will also step up their match preparations. McInnes will take charge of his first pre-season fixture behind closed doors this weekend when co-operation club Raith Rovers visit the Rangers Training Centre.
The friendly will provide the new manager with his first opportunity to assess his players in a match environment before the squad heads to Spain.
