Rangers kick off their 2023/24 Europa League campaign with a tricky home tie against Spanish opposition Real Betis.

The side from Seville finished in the top six of La Liga for the third year in a row last season, but have had a mixed start to this campaign, much like Rangers, with two wins and losses plus one draw, and are fresh off a 5-0 defeat to champions Barcelona.

But Manuel Pellegrini still boasts a strong squad, even with players like Nabil Fekir and William Carvalho out injured, with familiar names such as Claudio Bravo, Isco, Andres Guardado and Ayoze Perez amongst their ranks.

Despite getting back to winning ways in the league on Saturday at St Johnstone, Michael Beale has a growing injury list at the moment, with Nico Raskin joining Danilo, Todd Cantwell and Kieran Dowell in being ruled out for this next period of matches.

However, this should hopefully present the chance for others in the squad to step forward, with John Lundstram showing his expertise in this competition during our road to the final in 2022, whilst Jose Cifuentes will be itching to put down a regular run in his natural position.

With that being said, here is the Inside Ibrox team’s predicted line up for Rangers vs Betis
