It’s derby day in Glasgow as Rangers host the first Old Firm of the season at Ibrox.

Both teams come into the game under similar levels of pressure, with the home side looking to bounce back from a disappointing exit from the Champions League during the week in Eindhoven, whilst Celtic have went out the League Cup at the first hurdle and drew in the league with St Johnstone without scoring a goal.

The match is also Brendan Rodgers’ first experience of the derby since he lost in Govan 1-0 in December 2018 following a Ryan Jack goal in what was Steven Gerrard’s first Old Firm win as Rangers manager, not to mention current boss Michael Beale’s first experience of a Celtic victory in his then-role as first team coach.

Beale got his first taste of a similar feeling as the main man in the dugout back in May as goals from Todd Cantwell, John Souttar and Fashion Sakala ensured an emphatic win that day in a performance he will hope to see a repeat of tomorrow.

And he boosts an almost fully strength squad to choose from, with Kemar Roofe and Tom Lawrence back in the squad having been left out of the European matchday squads.

So here are the Inside Ibrox team’s predicted starting line-up for Rangers vs Celtic.
