Rangers head to Czechia to take on Viktoria Plzen in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie.

The match will take place this Tuesday, August 12th 2025, with a 6pm UK time kick off.

The match will be hosted in Plzen’s Doosan Arena, with Rangers travelling with a comfortable 3-0 lead from the first leg at Ibrox.

All is not positive with the Scottish side however, a poor start to their domestic campaign has seen them pick up only two points from six, drawing with both Motherwell and Dundee.

The French officials had a good game in the first leg, correctly awarding Rangers a penalty and not letting the game flare up.

But who is in charge of the second leg?

There is a Polish refereeing team in charge of this tie, with referee Szymon Marciniak taking charge.

Marciniak has been in charge of three previous Rangers matches. A 3-1 home loss to Bayer Leverkusen in March 2020, a 2-1 defeat away to Malmo in August 2021 and most recently a 1-0 win away to PSV in 2022.

He booked three Rangers players in each match, with nine carded in total.

He will be assisted by fellow Poles Tomasz Listkiewicz and Adam Kupsik who will run the line. While their countryman Karol Arys will operate as the fourth official.

In the VAR room the officials also originate from Poland with Piotr Lasyk assisted by Wojciech Myc on the monitors.
