Rangers supporters will not have to wait long to see Vanja Dragojevic officially unveiled, with the Serbian midfielder expected to be announced early next week after the squad return from their training camp in Spain.
The Light Blues are currently putting the finishing touches on a £4million deal for the 20-year-old Partizan Belgrade captain, who travelled to Glasgow to complete his medical and finalise personal terms ahead of signing a long-term contract at Ibrox.
When could Dragojevic be announced?
With Rangers due back in Scotland this weekend, Derek McInnes will oversee training sessions on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before his side's first public pre-season friendly against Saint-Etienne at Ibrox on Wednesday evening.
That schedule points towards Dragojevic being officially unveiled on either Monday or Tuesday, allowing the midfielder to join his new teammates before the midweek fixture.
While he is unlikely to be thrown straight into the starting XI, the friendly could provide supporters with their first glimpse of the Serbian international in Rangers colours, potentially from the bench.
Sources close to the player have described him as "very excited" about making the move to Glasgow and beginning the next chapter of his career in Scottish football.
