Rangers look to put their European disappointments behind them and close the gap on Celtic tonight as they welcome Hibernian to Ibrox for a Monday evening kick-off under the lights.

Rangers remain undefeated in the league under new head coach Danny Röhl and will look to take advantage of disarray across the city by maintaining their own domestic momentum.

Hibs head into the match two points behind the hosts and can leapfrog them with a win. David Gray’s side come into the match having defeated Falkirk 3-0 last time out.

Rangers have won both meetings between the sides so far this season – a 2-0 win in the Premier Sports Cup under Russell Martin and a 1-0 win at Easter Road under Röhl.

Is Rangers vs Hibernian on TV and will I be able to live stream the match?

The match at Ibrox will not be on television and has not been picked up by broadcasters as of now – the Monday kick off was due to police advice due to Yesterday’s Premier Sports Cup final between Celtic and St Mirren at Hampden.

Viewers outwith the UK and Ireland can watch the match via Rangers TV.

Team news

Rangers remain without the long-term injured John Souttar, Derek Cornelius, Bailey Rice and Oliver Antman.

Nedim Bajrami is also out after going off injured away to Kilmarnock while Dujon Sterling and Mikey Moore could return to the starting XI.

Bojan Miovski remains a doubt after his injury against Ferencvárosi as does Joe Rothwell – Kieran Dowell and Rabbi Matondo are also touch-and-go but the duo have returned to first-team training.

Nasser Djiga remains with the club and will not depart for the African Cup of Nations with Burkina Faso until Tuesday.

David Gray declined to give a fitness update during his press conference but doubts are Albert Manneh, Jordan Obita, Nicky Cadden, Thibault Klidjé and Rudi Molotnikov.

Match officials

Don Robertson will be the referee in charge of tonight’s match under the lights. The 38-year-old official has given out 57 yellow cards and two red cards across his 19 domestic and European matches this season so far – awarding four penalty kicks.

He will be assisted by David Roome and Ross MacLeod on the sidelines – the fourth official has not been confirmed.

VAR will be Greg Aitken, and his assistant will be Graeme Leslie.
