Former Rangers striker Sam Lammers has emerged as a candidate for PSV as the Dutch giants consider options to strengthen their frontline.
Dutch journalist Mounir Boualin reports that Lammers is indeed under consideration by PSV, citing an earlier report from Eindhovens Dagblad.
The potential move could be particularly appealing to PSV because of Lammers' history with the club.

Champions League advantage
Lammers came through PSV's youth academy, meaning he would be considered a club-trained player for UEFA Champions League squad-registration purposes if he returned to Eindhoven.
That could give PSV additional flexibility when registering their squad for Europe's elite competition.
Boualin reports that the same applies to fellow PSV target Arnaut Danjuma, with both players having developed through the club's academy.
The report states that if PSV decide to go "all-in" for either Lammers or Danjuma, their homegrown status could provide an additional Champions League advantage.

Lammers' Rangers spell
The interest comes after Lammers endured a difficult spell at Rangers.
The Dutch striker joined Rangers from Sampdoria in the summer of 2023 but struggled to establish himself at Ibrox under either Michael Beale or Phillipe Clement.
He scored just two goals in 17 appearances before leaving the club after half a season.
Lammers subsequently returned to Dutch football, initially joining FC Utrecht on loan before making the move to FC Twente permanent.
He joined Twente for an undisclosed fee in July 2024 and remains under contract until 30 June 2027.

Twente future uncertain
Despite having a contract with Twente, Lammers' future is now uncertain amid PSV's interest.
A return to Eindhoven would represent a significant opportunity for the striker, who developed at PSV before embarking on a career that has taken him across the Netherlands, Italy, France, Scotland and back to his homeland.
His academy background with the Dutch giants could make him an especially attractive option as they prepare for Champions League football.
No agreement has been reached at this stage, but Lammers is now firmly in the conversation as PSV assess their attacking options.
