Rangers will begin their 2025/26 Scottish Premiership campaign with a Saturday evening trip to Fir Park, as they face Motherwell on August 2nd in a 5.30pm kick-off.

The full fixture list was confirmed this morning by the SPFL, setting the stage for what promises to be a compelling season and a new era under new head coach Russell Martin.

We have friendlies to play first, with both Brugge and Middlesbrough heading to Ibrox on July 6th and 26th, as well as UEFA Champions League qualifiers against Panathinaikos.

But we won’t have long to wait to see their side in league action on home turf, with Rangers hosting Dundee, managed by former player Steven Pressley on August 9th at 5.45pm, Martin’s first Premiership match in charge at Ibrox.

At Inside Ibrox we have investigated how important opening day results are in the context of a season in a previous article.

The first Old Firm clash of the campaign is set for Sunday, August 31st, with Rangers welcoming Celtic for a midday showdown that will mark a key early test for the new era in Govan as we look to dent the hubris of Brendan Rodgers.

Following that, the Light Blues will host Hearts on September 13th post transfer window, before a trip to meet promoted Livingston two weeks later. October features a busy run, including home ties against Dundee United (Oct 18) and Kilmarnock (Oct 25), as well as trips to Falkirk and Hibernian.

In December, Rangers will look to build momentum through the always busy period with five crucial league matches. The club hosts a double-header at Ibrox just after Christmas, Motherwell visit on Saturday, December 27th at 3pm, followed by a midweek clash against St Mirren on Tuesday, December 30th at 7.45pm.

The new year begins with another Old Firm derby, this time at Parkhead, on Saturday, January 3rd at 12.30pm.

February offers key home fixtures against Kilmarnock and Hearts, before a third meeting with Celtic rounds off the month on February 28th at Ibrox.

The final match before the Premiership split will see Rangers travel to the Falkirk Stadium on April 11th. Post-split matches begin on April 25, with further rounds scheduled for May 2nd, 9th, 13th, and the weekend of May 16th/17th.

Please note, all fixtures are subject to change due to broadcast selections and European competition scheduling.

A full month-by-month breakdown of the fixtures is available on the club website.
