Rangers striker Ryan Naderi has been praised by Czechia boss Santi Denia for his commitment after playing the full 90 minutes in their 3-0 defeat to England.

Naderi started as the Czech side's No.9 at Wembley, where Harry Kane scored twice as England secured a convincing victory.

The result means the Czechs have endured a difficult international break, with four defeats from four.

However, the Czech boss insisted there was no doubt within the group about the process or the development of his players.

Czech boss praises Naderi

Naderi was one of those to receive particular praise from Denia, with the Rangers striker having made his commitment to representing Czechia clear.

"The association is very proud of the commitment of Naderi," Denia said.

"He chose this association. This is another option for the staff. He likes it a lot for the staff. This is another option for the striker to run in space.

"The most important is the commitment with the association.

"I am very proud and very happy for him. He is a very good boy. He is very good."

Naderi's willingness to work hard from the front was also highlighted, with Denia pointing to the Rangers forward's running and his ability to provide a different option in attack.

"I am very proud of him. He is very committed. He chose to play for the association," Denia said.

"He is very good. He likes to play from the start. He runs a lot.

"He is committed. I am very grateful for him."

Naderi starts as Kane hits record

The 90-minute outing gave Naderi valuable experience against an England side featuring Kane, who equalled Peter Shilton's record of 125 England appearances on the same night.

Despite the result, Denia's comments underline the importance of Naderi to Czechia's plans as the coaching staff continue to assess their options in attack.

The Rangers striker's ability to run into space and offer an alternative option at No.9 appears to have impressed the Czech coaching staff.

Denia admitted that injuries had caused problems during the international break but refused to use them as an excuse for the results.

"We have no doubt," the Czech boss said. "We know the process. We know the development.

"We need only the commitment. The commitment of the players."

Naderi appears to have provided exactly that, with Denia making a point of praising his attitude after the defeat.

The Rangers forward will now return to club football having completed another full international appearance and earned strong backing from the Czechia boss despite the disappointing result at Wembley.
