Rangers’ new signings Oliver Antman and Djeidi Gassama both impressed in last night's 3-0 victory over Viktoria Plzen.

The Ibrox side dominated the first leg of their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie against the Czech outfit, heading into next Wednesday’s return leg with a commanding advantage.

Also featuring were fellow new recruits Joe Rothwell, Max Aarons, Nasser Djiga, and Lyall Cameron, all of whom impressed on the night.

Mikey Moore is still awaiting international clearance and has yet to feature for his new club, as has Emmanuel Fernandez, with the central defender so far limited to a place on the bench.

However, the highest profile signing yet to appear is Norwegian international Thelo Aasgaard.

Rangers vs Dundee: Where to watch first Ibrox league match?

The midfielder arrived at Ibrox to considerable fanfare earlier this summer, signing from Luton Town, but fans have yet to see him in action.

His only pre-season appearance came in a behind-closed-doors match against Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline Athletic at the training centre.

Aasgaard scored in a 4-1 win but picked up an injury during that match that has sidelined him since.

However, sources within the club have now confirmed that, if all goes to plan, Aasgaard will make his Rangers debut this month in the Premier Sports Cup fixture against Alloa Athletic at Ibrox.

While he’s unlikely to start the tie, he is expected to get some much-needed minutes under his belt ahead of a potential Champions League play-off round appearance, and a massive Old Firm derby at the end of the month.
