Rangers vs Sparta Prague predicted line up as Clement enters European arena

After a successful first result in charge of Rangers this past weekend, Philippe Clement turns his eyes to European competition as his side travel to Prague to take on Sparta.

It is the third time in just over two years that the two sides face off having previously been drawn together in the group stage of the 2021/22 season.

The subsequent meeting that season saw the Czech side come out as 1-0 winners, making it two defeats from two in the group for Steven Gerrard, before Rangers won the reverse at Ibrox 2-0 in Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s first match in charge.

A double from Alfredo Morelos that evening secured qualification to next round, and Clement will be hoping his £15m strike force that continue to build on their showing against Hibs, where they looked like they were beginning to show why Michael Beale spent the money on them.

The manager will also be hopeful of welcoming Todd Cantwell back into his starting 11, although he will have no left back to choose from with Borna Barisic injured and Ridvan Yilmaz not in the European squad.
