Rangers vs Livingston predicted line up as Rice and Yilmaz in contention

Rangers continue their quest for a first trophy under Michael Beale this midweek as they face off against Livingston in the quarter final of the League Cup.

The game marks the third of four consecutive home games for the Ibrox side.

But they come into this game under pressure to perform, as well as win, as they failed to build on an impressive showing against Real Betis with a lethargic display in their 1-0 victory over Motherwell.

With Celtic already out of the competition, there are little excuses for Beale if they fail to secure anything other than a semi final place against a side they defeated in Govan 4-0 back in August.

The manager has to deal with an increasingly long injury list at the moment though, with Rabbi Matondo joining Danilo, Todd Cantwell, Nico Raskin and Tom Lawrence on the treatment.

So it presents a chance for players such as Scott Wright – fresh off a surprise start on Sunday – and young Bailey Rice to come in and stake a claim for the weeks ahead.
