Rangers appear to be ramping up their attempts to complete their attacking re-enforcements this summer by submitting a fresh bid for Feyenoord striker Danilo, according to reports from Holland. The Algemeen Dagblad reports that the Ibrox club have made a third offer for the Brazilian forward of 6 million Euros.
Rangers and Michael Beale’s interest in Danilo was first reported back towards the end of June by The 4th Official, who said at the time:
"Danilo is quite highly rated and this would be a real coup for Beale."
Danilo would be an exciting addition to the Rangers squad, having scored 14 goals in 48 games for the Dutch champions having arrived from rivals Ajax last summer.
The move would also complete what would be a complete revamp of the Rangers frontline, with Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers and Abdallah Sima already arrived, with Alfredo Morelos and Antonio Colak out the door, with Fashion Sakala also being rumoured for an exit, again being reported by The 4th Official.
They said regarding the Zambian Sakala:
"I have been talking with several people throughout the day and it seems Fashion Sakala is also in discussion regarding a move out of Rangers. The club in question is from Saudi Arabia and the transfer fee being discussed is £4m. It’s not close to done, but discussions are well underway."
Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling, Jack Butland and Leon Balogun have also been brought in by Beale in what has been a major revamp of the playing squad, with LAFC midfielder Jose Cifuentes believed to be on the verge of being confirmed. Scott Wright in is Turkey having talks with Pendikspor over a possible departure, whilst Glen Kamara remains heavily linked with a move to Leeds for up to £5m.
