Alfredo Morelos is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League clubs, and the uncertainty surrounding his future at Rangers is having an impact on his performances, according to Kenny Miller.

Alfredo Morelos, the 26-year-old striker for Rangers, is reportedly attracting a lot of interest from other football clubs.

TEAMtalk was the latest news outlet to link Morelos with a move away from Ibrox, with Aston Villa and Crystal Palace believed to be interested in his services.

This uncertainty surrounding his future at the club is also having an impact on his performances for Michael Beale’s side, according to Kenny Miller.

"“I think Morelos has more pressing ability when fit and at it, more physical, he’s more mobile, there’s no doubt about it,” Miller said on Go Radio(as quoted by the Daily Record, 6 April).“But at the moment looks like Colak is maybe working harder. So it’s a question out there but I just think what is going on with Alfredo.”"

Morelos joined Rangers as a 20-year-old and has since become a key player for the club. Miller believes that the pressure and interest in Morelos could be taking a toll on his performance.

It seems like Morelos’ future at Rangers is hanging in the balance, and if he signed a new deal, it would be a surprise to almost everyone.

While Morelos deserves the chance to test himself at a higher level, the manner of his exit could leave a sour taste. The lack of clarity and links to other clubs have not helped the Colombian, and the board should have considered cashing in on him last summer, according to Miller.

For now, all the striker can do is continue to score goals and show he is invested in Beale’s plans until the end of the season.

More from Alfredo Morelos

A win on Saturday against Celtic would be a significant achievement for Beale’s men, who are currently nine points behind the Hoops. It promises to be an intriguing affair with no away supporters in attendance.

However, for Morelos, his future remains uncertain, and only time will tell where he will be playing his football next year.

The future of Morelos at Rangers remains uncertain, and the ongoing transfer rumors seem to be impacting his form.

While he deserves the chance to test himself at a higher level, the board should consider the manner of his exit, and ensure that they get a fair deal if he does leave.

As for the striker, he must focus on scoring goals and showing his commitment to Beale’s plans until the end of the season.
