Lawrence Shankland

Age: 24

Citizenship: Scotland

Current Squad: Dundee United

19-20 stats: 28 goals and 3 assists in all competitions

Est. Value: 523,000 pounds

Shankland looks like the obvious choice for Rangers on paper, with a Championship leading 24 goals and two assists for Dundee United as well as being a Glasgow native. Though he was born in Glasgow he has yet to play for Rangers and came up through the Queen’s Park ranks. Shankland has been linked to a move to Ibrox for a little over a year now, with reports regarding Rangers interest in a move from his former club Ayr United back in January of 2019. So maybe, just maybe the Summer of 2020 is the right time for both sides to bring one of the better goal scorers in all of the SPFL back home and netting them inside Ibrox.

Now replacing Alfredo Morelos is easier to type than it is to accomplish, as most players on this list won’t have the immediate impact he currently has on the pitch. Once again, Morelos is a proven talent who can score double-digit goals in the Premiership while making his presence felt against some of the best teams on the continent in Europe year in and year out. After all, that is why he currently has all of these high powered suitors, right?

Next. Any chance at resolution thrown out on one vote. dark

Nevertheless, only time will tell who actually arrives at Ibrox this summer to help bolster Rangers attack. One thing is for sure, Rangers can’t afford to get this reload wrong as any further gap between themselves and Celtic on the table won’t be stood for by supporters.
